The Oazis retreat is a 7-day transformative experience designed to help participants disconnect from the distractions of daily life and reconnect with nature in order to find their purpose and inner peace. Led by Ruda, this unique journey takes place in Lençóis Maranhenses, Brazil.
Through various activities and ceremonies, the retreat aims to help participants overcome burnout, find their purpose, and reset and unplug from the chaos of daily life. Before we continue, we want to highlight once again – the Oazis Retreat is not for everyone.
You must be ready to detach from your comfort zone, leave your phone behind, and challenge yourself physically and mentally.
You will sleep in hammocks and eat simple, delicious food. You will walk for 2 to 6 hours a day on sand dunes, carrying only a small backpack…

Most frequently asked questions and answers.
The Oazis Retreat will take place on June 14 – 21st, 2023. The location is Lençóis Maranhenses, Brazil.
We will gather in the city of São Luis, in Brazil. This is the city you should be flying into. Our shuttle well leave from São Luis airport in the morning of June 14th, heading towards Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. We’ll be back to São Luis on June 21st.

A basic packing list will be provided once you’re accepted.
You will only bring along basic necessities in a small backpack. Remember that we will be walking on sand dunes every day and it’s best to carry a minimal amount of items on you.
It will be possible to leave part of your luggage in São Luis, leaving to the desert with only what is necessary.
You’ll be walking over sand dunes, from 3 to 6 hours a day, for one week. It’s your responsibility to check your physical condition and prepare accordingly for daily hiking. Low level of physical fitness can have a negative impact over your whole experience during the journey.
