8 unusual habits that indicate an exceptionally high level of intuition

Navigating life can be a tricky business, right?

You’re constantly making decisions, big or small, and at times it feels like you’re just winging it.

But sometimes, you just know things. You can’t quite explain why or how, but you just do.

You might chalk it up to a lucky guess or even a coincidence, but what if it’s something more?

What if these hunches, these gut feelings, are a sign of an exceptionally high level of intuition?

Here’s how to identify 8 unusual habits that could be indicative of an extraordinary intuitive ability.

1) You’re often spot on with first impressions

First impressions can be a tricky business, can’t they?

You meet someone new and in that first fleeting moment, you form an opinion about them.

Sometimes, it’s a vague feeling or an inexplicable hunch. Other times, it’s an immediate understanding of their personality, their character.

And the interesting part? More often than not, you find that your initial impression was undeniably accurate.

Sure, people can surprise us and they often do. But if you consistently find your first impressions aligning with who people really are, it might just be your intuition at play.

It’s like you have this sixth sense that’s able to tap into the essence of people right off the bat. A remarkable intuitive ability that sets you apart – and it’s definitely worth noticing.

2) You experience strong gut feelings

Let’s talk about gut feelings for a moment, shall we?

You know the kind I’m talking about – those strong, visceral reactions that seem to come from nowhere.

They hit you out of the blue, often when you least expect them. And they can be about anything – a decision you need to make, a person you just met, or even a situation you’re facing.

I’d be lying if I said these gut feelings didn’t freak me out sometimes. It’s like having this inner compass that’s always trying to guide me, even when I’m not sure where it’s pointing.

But here’s the thing – whenever I’ve trusted these gut feelings, they’ve rarely led me astray. They seem to have this uncanny knack for being right on the money.

3) You have vivid, prophetic dreams

Dreams are such strange things, aren’t they? They can be surreal, confusing and sometimes downright bizarre.

But every now and then, I have these dreams that are vivid and incredibly detailed. And the strangest part? They sometimes come true.

I remember this one time, I dreamt about running into an old friend at a coffee shop. It had been years since we last saw each other and we lived in different cities.

But the very next week, I found myself at a coffee shop in her city. And just like my dream, she walked in. We were both surprised and delighted to see each other.

It felt like a déjà vu but it was a dream come true – literally!

Having such prophetic dreams isn’t just unusual, it could indicate an exceptionally high level of intuition

4) You pick up on the energy in a room

Have you ever walked into a room and immediately felt the vibe? It’s as if the energy of the place hits you like a wave.

You can sense if the atmosphere is tense, relaxed, excited, or somber. Even if no one says a word, you still get a feel for what’s going on.

So, if you often find yourself tuning into the energy of your surroundings, it might be more than just being observant or sensitive.

5) You often know what someone is going to say before they say it

Ever had those moments where you just know what someone is about to say before the words even leave their mouth? It’s as if you can read their mind or, at the very least, their intentions.

Now, I’m not talking about predictable conversations or finishing each other’s sentences because you know the person well. It’s more about spontaneous conversations with acquaintances, colleagues, or even strangers.

You find yourself anticipating their thoughts or comments accurately. It’s like having a sneak peek into their mind.

And when it happens over and over again, you start to realize that it’s not just a random guess.

It could be your intuition speaking up, allowing you to tap into a deeper level of understanding and connection with others

6) You have a knack for finding lost things

Ever noticed how some people always manage to find their lost keys, wallet or phone almost instinctively?

It’s as if they have this internal GPS that guides them straight to the misplaced item. It sure can be a handy skill, especially on those rushed mornings.

For me, it’s always been about listening to that little voice in my head. When I lose something, I take a moment to quiet my mind and just listen. More often than not, I find myself being drawn to the exact spot where the lost item is.

What seems like a simple act of finding lost things could actually be your intuition guiding you.

Like an invisible thread linking you to the things around you, your intuition helps you navigate your physical world in ways that can seem uncannily accurate.

7) You sense danger before it happens

This one is a bit unnerving, isn’t it?

You’re going about your day, everything is normal, and out of nowhere, you get this overwhelming sense of dread.

It’s like a warning bell going off in your head, urging you to be cautious or even change your plans.

I’ve had instances where I felt a strong urge to leave a place or avoid a certain route, only to find out later that something unfortunate had happened there.

It can be easy to dismiss these feelings as paranoia or anxiety, but when they consistently prove to be accurate warnings, it’s hard to ignore the possibility that it could be an intuitive insight.

Being able to sense danger before it happens is not just unusual; it’s an incredible testament to the power of intuition.

8) You trust your instincts without hesitation

At the end of the day, it all boils down to this one thing – trust.

Trusting your instincts, your gut feelings, your hunches, whatever you choose to call it.

It’s about having faith in your intuitive ability, even when it doesn’t make logical sense.

I’ve had moments when my intuition urged me to take a certain path or make a certain decision that didn’t seem rational at the time. But I’ve learned to trust it without question.

And every single time, without fail, I’ve been rewarded with outcomes that were better than I could have anticipated.

If you find yourself instinctively trusting your intuition and acting on it with confidence, then my friend, you are harnessing an exceptionally high level of intuition.

This trust in your intuitive voice is a testament to its strength and accuracy. It’s not just an unusual habit; it’s the ultimate sign of an intuitive person.

Final thoughts

If you’ve found yourself nodding along to these signs, there’s a strong likelihood that you possess an exceptional level of intuition.

Embrace it. This gift can guide you through life, helping you navigate complex situations, connect with others on a deeper level and even protect you from potential harm. Trusting this intuitive voice is the ultimate act of self-trust.

However, it’s important to remember that intuition is like a muscle – it gets stronger with use. Begin by recognizing these habits in your daily life. Pay attention to your gut feelings, your dreams, and the energy around you.

You may question your intuitive insights at times, especially when they don’t align with logic. That’s okay. It’s part of the journey. The challenge lies in being able to trust your intuition even when it goes against the grain.

This is not a journey you have to walk alone. There are plenty of resources out there to help you hone your intuitive skills. For instance, Psychology Today offers some great insights into understanding and developing intuition.

Remember, this isn’t about becoming someone else – it’s about deepening your connection with yourself. So take the time to explore and nurture this exceptional ability you have.
