I take a moment to breathe and bring my focus back to the here and now. It’s not always easy, but it definitely helps me enjoy life more.

4) Value character over reputation

Marcus Aurelius was known to say, “Waste no more time arguing about what a good man should be. Be one.”

He believed that actions speak louder than words and that our character is our true self, while reputation is merely what others perceive us to be.
